How do I register for an art class?

All art camp and weekly art class registrations are completed online through the Amilia (SmartRec) registration system. Simply create an account, browse available programs, and register for the class of your choice.

If a class is full, we encourage you to join the waitlist.

When do art classes run?

Lemon Yellow Art Studio offers:

  • Weekly art classes during the fall (Sept – Dec), winter (Jan – Mar), and spring (Apr – June) seasons
  • Day camps during school breaks and holidays
  • Special workshops throughout the year
  • Private events and birthday parties

Which art class should I register my child in?

Classes are organized by age group:

Tiny Artists

Ages 2โ€“5 (with a parent or caregiver)

Budding Artists

Kindergartenโ€“Grade 2

Art Explorations

Grades 3โ€“8

Teen Drawing, Painting or Art Explorations

Grades 8โ€“12

Do I register for multiple days each week?

No. Weekly classes are offered on multiple days to provide flexibility for families, but students only attend one class per week.

Choose the day and time that works best for your schedule.

What kinds of projects do students create?

Students explore a wide variety of materials and techniques, including:

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Clay
  • Mixed media
  • Printmaking

Projects change regularly, and no two sessions are exactly the same.

Do students need to bring supplies?

No. All basic art supplies and materials are included.

What should my child wear?

Art can be messy! We recommend wearing clothes that can get paint, clay, or other art materials on them.

Aprons are provided, but they do not guarantee clothing will stay clean.

Can my child try an art class before committing?

Depending on availability, drop-in opportunities may be offered for select programs. Please contact Tia to inquire about current options.

What if my child misses a class?

Unfortunately, missed classes cannot typically be refunded or rescheduled. However, we understand that illnesses and unexpected circumstances arise.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Refund and cancellation policies vary depending on the program or event.

Do you offer private events?

Yes!

How many children can attend a birthday party?

Party capacities vary between 5 and 24 attendees, depending on the project selected and studio setup.

Do you offer classes for adults?

Occasionally, Lemon Yellow Art Studio offers workshops, a weekly class and special events for adults.
